DISCOVERY MEETING

This is an on-site discussion about your vision. following our in-person visit, we are happy to provide a preliminary estimate for your review.  An estimate is an approximation based on the scope of work, any plans or expectations, and our knowledge of materials, labor and finishes.  If the estimate works reasonably for your budget and you choose to move forward, you are welcome to accept the estimate.  If you choose to go another direction, we understand. there are many reasons for this – no hard feelings. you will make us aware and decline the estimate.

PROJECT planning & INITIATION

depending on project complexity and/or size, we may request a planning disbursement allowing us to move forward. At this time, any preliminary plans will be more thoroughly reviewed by our team. We will continue to meet with our industry partners and provide a more precise bid proposal.  Being that every project is unique, this step can vary based on the size of the project or specific features. There are typically many conversations that will take place with suppliers, trade partners, architects, engineers and clients at this phase.  If your project requires an architect, and you have not yet hired one, we will bring in an architect at this time.  The bid proposal provided will include a contract price that notes allowances for specific items selected later, such as particular finishes.

CONTRACT & project kickoff

Aligning on the bid proposal helps produce a more detailed scope of work and proposition for which we can enter into a working agreement.  Signing our construction agreement and supplying ~20% of the contract price will reserve your spot on our project calendar.  prior to your project start, we will begin providing any desired support on design selections, we will finalize construction drawings and documents for obtaining permits, as well as begin securing & scheduling project partners and preparing a proposed project schedule.
